Statutory Bodies is comprised of 7 sectors which include;
•Council which mainly approves work plan and budget.
•Procurement whose main purpose is to award contracts and tenders.
•District Service Commission which recruits and disciplines staff.
•District Land Board which deals with land issues.
•Public Accounts Committee which examines audit reports both internal & external.
•Political oversight which takes charge of supervisory role.
•Standing committees which discuss & approves departmental reports & recommendations to the District Council.
