As the Representative of H.E. the President of the Republic of Uganda in Kalungu District, I am honoured to welcome you to our official District website.

Kalungu is a district with great potential, driven by hardworking communities, a vibrant agricultural sector and growing opportunities for investment and socio-economic transformation. Our responsibility as leaders is to ensure that Government programmes reach the intended beneficiaries and translate into tangible improvements in the lives of our people.

My office remains committed to mobilising communities, monitoring Government programmes and strengthening coordination between Central Government, Local Government, political leaders, development partners and citizens.

We shall continue to support initiatives that promote household income, food security, quality social services, youth and women's empowerment, investment, job creation and responsible utilisation of Government resources.

This website provides an important platform for keeping the public informed about Government programmes, District activities, available services and opportunities within Kalungu. I encourage residents and other stakeholders to use it as a source of information and to actively participate in the development of our district.
